I met Mick this weekend at his store- flowers for the people. Its a flower boutique in Bellevue that has a very modern and classic feel to it due to the lighting, the furnishing and the antique pieces of furniture.
Mick and his sister Olivia own the flower boutique and they recently started their business and its been doing really well.
My favourite aspect of the store has to be the concept- unlike other flower stores that stock the same ‘in demand’ kind of flowers, they actually put a lot of creativity into putting together unique one-of-a-kind pieces. It feels more authentic and organic instead of getting the same old popular flowers for your event.
I got to see their current flowers in stock as well as pictures of past arrangements and I thought it was cool that they are young entrepreneurs- they found something creative to put their heart to while also making a lot of money from it.
I also met their mum Jennifer who helps them out on the weekends and she was a lovely person as well. She also had her own flower shop a couple of years back. I guess the creativity runs in the family 😉
Mick and Olivia were fun to get to know and I couldn’t help but compliment Mick’s eyes/eyelashes- they were so long and nice. hehe.
Enjoy the video. A part of it cut out when a call came in but you get the point 😉
Ps: Watching the video again just now, I think Mick looks like Elvis. What do you think? yay or nay?
